A Bwa or Nunuma mask of large proportions, the circular face with a pierced flange at the reverse with several attachment-holes, the face with open pierced mouth, concentric circles for eyes and a central, arching, beak-like projection pendant from the forehead beneath a large rectangular plank carved in low relief with a geometric zig-zag and chevron motifs surmounted by an upward-pointed crescent; fine encrusted patina of black, white and reddish pigments.
