A Lobi sulpture of a woman, probably Ivory Coast, around Bouna, of a wellknown carver, standing on fragmentary feet, slightly bent legs, the arms carved close to the body, ending in small wedgeshaped hands, the cylindrical, short neck supporting a large ovoid head with a caplike coiffure, the protruding slit-mouth with lip-plugs, the nose elongated, framed by almond-shaped eyes; a blackened, partly encrusted patina.
